Peace out, I'm done with live journal. I feel that in the 5 or so years I've used this, I've gotten my fill. No real need to update this anymore, the people I love and talk to on a daily basis will know the deal.

xoxo

My birthday was pretty awesome.

My family drove up from Olympia and had lunch with me. I recieved a CELL PHONE (finally at the ripe old age of 25), so I can finally cancel my landline. My little sister and I went shopping at Forever 21. Then I went to the Twilight with all my friends, who

a) baked me an amazing cake
b) bought me cute little gifts like yahtzee earrings
c) made me feel fucking great

We sang songs, and drank too much and and ate a lot of cake. It was amazing.

Today is my last day in this apartment and there's still so much to do. I have to move all my furniture into the living room (for a day or two), then clean this room, then attempt to move some of the new roommate's stuff into here, so I can fit everything out there. Then I work all night. It's going to be a long day.

Things have been better.

My car isn't that badly damaged, they just cut a bunch of wires and TRIED to take my battery. And tore some of the inside apart, but everything is intact. I just need to fix a few things, which shouldn't be TOO expensive.

I've been working all weekend. Street Fair started today, so the U-District was bustling. I bought some postcards and inscense for my new place. Which I'm moving into so soon. I can't even contain myself. The thought of moving is overwhelming, because packing is terrible. But unpacking is so much fun! What's the deal?

Random hipster kids talked my ear off on the bus today, it was pretty random. And fun. Apparently reading *is* sexy.

I'm so tired, and I work all day tomorrow too. But Matt gets back in the afternoon, so at least there's something to look foward too.

I've had a wonderful past few days. Working a lot, but still managing to have fun. Friday was Scottie's housewarming bbq, and then drinks at the Jade Pagoda. Saturday I worked all day, then took off for Olympia. Spent time with the fam, had drinks with Rachel, Ilana and Judd, met my Seattle posse at The Reef, headed over to Jakes and danced 'till last call. Spend all of Sunday with the fam, and then drove back up to Seattle to work a closing shift.

Things are going good. Moving into my new 6th floor studio in 15 days. I'm doing so good at barbacking at the Maharaja that they want me to start bartending there in June. Working two jobs is rough, but worth it.

I'm so glad I'm not one of those people who has to go out every night and get wasted and pass out. I enjoy the fact that I can go out, and have a good time without spending all my money and being totally irresponsible. My mom and I had a big talk about this over the weekend (as a result of my bartending), so it's on my mind.

Today I await the phone call telling me whether I got the apartment on Bellevue between Pike & Pine. It's expensive, more than I had planned, but it's worth it. I have money saved *just* for this. It's the most beautiful apartment in the world. Or close to it. I'm trying not to get excited for it, in case I'm denied (which I never have for an apartment, but this is Seattle). And I fucking love the old married couple that would be my landlords. They are the sweetest people.

Cross your fingers for me.

Today I shall:

- meet cousin at The Rosebud around 4 pm for a cocktail date and smoking on the patio.
- take my $3 cowboyboots that have started to fall apart, to a shoe man and get them fixed.
- bake cookies for ToMo/Lost party tonight (fuck yeah!)
- shave legs/paint toenails (it's been too long)
- try to get all my information for HRG together so I can apply for an apartment

kisses and hugs

Current Location: i don't have a desk
Current Mood: very olympia

I am moving out. Right now, it looks like it won't be feasible until June. Which is heartbreaking. Spending another minute in this apartment makes me want to scream.

Even more frustrating is the fact that Victoria won't leave. I spent a good month finding this apartment, my parents paid for the U-Haul and co-signed on the place, and now *I* am being forced out of my home.

I'm irritated, and that's all I'm going to say about the situation.

I've been spending every minute I can at Matt's place which smells of dog pee, but even that is a reprive from my home life right now.

Thank god for that.

I finally cleaned my shower. Only 6 months after I first moved into my apartment...uh I know it sounds gross, and trust me it was. I just didn't realize how bad it was until it was REAL BAD. But now it's sparkly and beautiful and I promise to clean my shower every few weeks from now on.

Last night was karaoke for the V's birthday. I actually sang. Flock of Seagulls anyone? Yeah it was pretty amusing. But it's hard to find songs that
A. don't hit any high notes because my voice is manlike
B. don't require any effort or real talent
C. I can dance too, just to make up for the lack of actual singing I'm doing

I just finished working two 9 hour days in a row, yuck. At least tomorrow I can sleep in before I trek back to the mall and sell more overpriced G-Unit CD's to 12 year olds.

I hate pretty much everything right now.

Hopefully tonight's trip to Seattle to see the Gossip will wash my blues away. If not, there's always vodka or whiskey.

I am an idiot. I almost bounced my rent check. Mostly because I went to Thriftway last night and bought shaving gel, ice cream and the new issue of BUST with Amy Sedaris on the cover. Essentials okay?

Yesterday Rachel and I ate cheeseburgers and fries and watched the most amazing Lifetime movie I've ever seen.

Today was coffee and Olympia boredom. Drove to Tacoma's Value Village where I purchased my new favorite cardigan. We visited the mall, which I haven't ventured into since I was a senior in high school. Drooled over expensive shoes, browsed in un-mentionable stores and ate soft pretezels.

So yeah, I have no money. I spent it all today. I am an idiot.
But I do enjoy punk rock sing-a-longs.

And the new Spoon record is amazing. Comes out in May.

What a few weeks.

They have been filled with lovely friends, and ice cream sundaes & pie dates, and flicking cigarette ash into discarded creamer containers, and searching for a used car (which is going terribly), and being a lush and dancing at the gay bar, and talking shit with my favorite Victoria about stupid sluts (and boring boys), and stumbling home only to fall asleep in my tights and skirt, and drunk dialing back a certain dude who *FINALLY* called (3 weeks too late).

Yeah, life is busy...and I still have a cold which is kind of shitty, and I'm still hoofing it everywhere, which is nice when you're sort of tipsy and the cold walk home sobers you up (slightly).

I am really sick.
I am fully moved into my new aparment.
My car died, so I'm walking everywhere and my mother is taking me to work. (classy)
So typical...I'm finally free again of the rents, only to depend on them once again.

My sickness has been made better by brownie dates with Rachel and lots of Sex & the City and Project Runway (like crack).

Sundays off are good days to walk downtown and get bagels, and buy records, and browse in bookstores, and freeze your ass off, and to assemble shoe racks to display pretty pumps, and finish hanging up posters, and to do dishes you've neglected, and smoke too many cigarettes and eat free dinner (even though you didn't want the free fucking dinner).

I miss not having the internet.
